Terms of Use

Effective date: October 26, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Long Bet LLC, a Montana limited liability company (“we”, “us”) about your use of the Ante Golf app and antegolf.app (together, “Ante”). By using Ante, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Ante.

1. What Ante is

Ante is a scorekeeping app for golf side games you play with friends. You choose the games, the players and any stakes. Ante keeps score and shows who owes whom under the rules you pick. You can also play just for fun with no stakes.

Ante doesn’t hold, move or process money between players. It doesn’t collect stakes, take a cut, or make anyone pay. Settling up happens between you and your group, outside the app, and is your own arrangement.

2. Following local rules

Rules about playing for stakes differ from place to place, and many courses and clubs have their own policies. You’re responsible for making sure the way your group uses Ante follows the laws where you play and any course or club rules.

3. Who can use Ante

You must be at least 16 years old to use Ante. By using Ante, you confirm that you are. Anyone with a shared link can follow a round in a web browser, but scoring a round requires an account.

4. Your account

You sign in with Apple. Keep your Apple ID secure, because you’re responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Delete account, which permanently deletes your account and rounds.

5. Your content and shared links

You’re responsible for what you enter into Ante, including the player names you add, so only add people who are happy to be included. You keep ownership of your content. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run Ante for you, for example syncing your rounds and showing a shared round to people who have the link.

When you share a round, anyone with the link can see its player names, games, scores and who owes whom. A finished round’s link stops working 7 days after it was shared, and we may turn off a link at any time.

6. Ante Premium

Ante is free to download, and keeping score by tapping who won each game is free. Ante Premium is an optional subscription that unlocks extra features, such as recording strokes and automatic handicaps. It costs $7.99 per month or $69.99 per year (US prices; prices in other countries may differ, and the price shown in the app before you buy is the one that applies).

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
  • Your subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone’s Settings app (tap your name, then Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
  • Apple handles all billing and refunds under its own terms. To ask for a refund, use Apple’s Report a Problem page.
  • If we change the price, Apple will let you know before it applies to you.

7. Using Ante fairly

Please don’t:

  • try to get into other people’s accounts or rounds that weren’t shared with you;
  • probe, scrape, overload or disrupt our systems;
  • copy or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows;
  • use Ante to harass anyone or to break the law;
  • use Ante to run a business that organizes, collects or takes a cut of other people’s stakes.

We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.

8. Check the math

We work hard to make Ante’s scoring correct, but the results depend on the scores, players and rules you enter. Double-check anything that matters to you. We aren’t responsible for disagreements between players about scores, rules or who owes whom.

9. Other services

Ante relies on Apple and the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy. Your use of Apple’s services is also covered by Apple’s terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

10. Changes

We may update Ante, and we may add, change or remove features. We may also update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll let you know in the app or on this page before it takes effect. If you keep using Ante after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.

11. Disclaimers

Ante is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise Ante will always be available or error-free, for example on a course with no signal.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any amounts owed or disputed between players. Our total liability for any claim relating to Ante is limited to the greater of what you paid us for Ante in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

13. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn’t responsible for Ante or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and isn’t responsible for any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the app must also follow the App Store’s Usage Rules.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Montana, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
