Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 26, 2026
Ante Golf (“Ante”, “we”, “us”) is an iPhone app for scoring golf side games and showing who owes whom. It is operated by Long Bet LLC, a Montana limited liability company. This policy explains what the app and antegolf.app collect, why, and the choices you have.
The short version: we collect only what we need to run your rounds, fix problems and see which features get used. We don’t show ads, we don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and we don’t sell your information.
What we collect
- Sign in with Apple details. You sign in with Apple. Apple gives us an account identifier, your email address (or a private relay address if you choose “Hide My Email”) and your name if you choose to share it. We use these to create and secure your account.
- Your rounds. When you play, the app saves the round: the player names you type in, the course, the games and stakes you choose, scores, results and who owes whom. Rounds are saved on your phone and synced to your account so they’re backed up and can be shared.
- Subscription status. If you subscribe to Ante Premium, Apple processes the payment. We receive your subscription status and purchase history (not your card or payment details) so we can unlock Premium features.
- Crash and error reports. If the app crashes or hits an error, it sends a diagnostic report with things like your device model, iOS version, app version and what went wrong.
- Feature usage. We record a few basic events, such as “round created”, “round finished” and “share opened”, with details like the number of players and which games were included. These events are linked to your account ID, not your name or email. Our analytics provider may also estimate your general area (city or region) from your IP address.
We don’t collect your precise location, contacts or photos, and the app doesn’t use your device’s advertising identifier.
Ante doesn’t handle money
Ante keeps score and shows who owes whom. It doesn’t hold, move or process money between players, and it never asks for your bank or card details to settle up. Your group settles up on its own, outside the app.
How we use information
- To run Ante: your account, your rounds, syncing and shared links
- To provide Ante Premium to subscribers
- To fix crashes and keep the app reliable
- To understand which features get used so we can improve them
- To reply when you contact us
- To meet legal obligations and protect Ante and its users
Who we share it with
We use a few service providers to run Ante. They handle data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes:
- Supabase: database hosting and sign-in (your account and rounds)
- Apple: Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases and subscriptions
- RevenueCat: manages Ante Premium subscription status
- Sentry: crash and error reports
- Mixpanel: the usage events described above
- WP Engine and Cloudflare: host and protect antegolf.app
We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t share it with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a sale or transfer of Ante, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.
Shared round links
Each round can have its own private, hard-to-guess link. Anyone who has the link can view that round in a web browser without the app or an account, including player names, the games, scores and who owes whom. Only share a link with people you’re comfortable seeing that. A finished round’s link stops working 7 days after it was shared.
Our website
When you visit antegolf.app, our hosting providers process standard technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the site. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited and how people find the site. If you join the waitlist, we use your email (and first name, if you give it) only to tell you about Ante’s launch. If you send us a message through the support form, we use your name, email and message only to reply to you.
How long we keep information
We keep your account and rounds until you delete them. Crash reports and usage events are kept for a limited time under our providers’ retention settings and then deleted. Waitlist sign-ups and support messages are kept only as long as we need them.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, profile and rounds from our servers, and any links you shared stop working. This can’t be undone. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel an Ante Premium subscription; cancel that in your iPhone’s Settings.
To ask us to delete crash or usage data too, or if you can’t access the app, use the form on our Support page and choose the “Account & data” topic.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you through the Support page. Depending on where you live (for example, California, the EU or the UK), you may have additional privacy rights, and we’ll honor them as the law requires. We won’t treat you differently for using them.
Age requirement
Ante is for people 16 and older. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe someone under 16 has given us information, let us know through the Support page and we’ll delete it.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with access controls, so only you can see or change your rounds unless you share a link. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Where data is stored
Ante is run from the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the effective date. If a change is significant, we’ll also let you know in the app.
